NASCAR RULES
NASCAR racers are some of the coolest people in the world. Just think about it. Loud engines, high speeds, and beautiful racing rings. However, being a professional driver has its downs and hides some secrets. Wanna know more? Sit back cause in this Article, we’ll show you the top 5 Secret Rules Of NASCAR racing.
NASCAR Drivers Dont Have A License
If you think NASCAR drivers are fully licensed driving experts with years of studying, you just might have to think again. Surprisingly enough, as great as they are at racing, certain NASCAR drivers don’t even have a driver’s license! Of course, despite not always having a valid license, NASCAR drivers are very experienced and are usually racers that have been racing around tracks for years, and maybe even decades.
However, when it comes to driving on the regular road, you just might be surprised to know that some of these racers know next to nothing about road rules and road driving. The only thing relevant to them is race track laws.
NASCAR Drivers Dont Cross Solid Yellow Lines
Anybody that drives knows you can cross single white lines to pass and to never pass on a solid double yellow line, or at least, they are supposed to know that. Well, the same applies to racing! Much like highway driving, it is forbidden in racing to cross a solid double yellow line.
These lines are used to mark areas that are considered “out-of-bounds,” and any driver that crosses them could find themselves being penalized or even removed from the race! So in case you aspire to become a NASCAR driver, make sure you think of those solid yellow lines as lava and stay away!
NASCAR Does Not Like Jack of All Trades
Did you know that NASCAR does NOT like jack-of-all-trades?! When it comes to racing in the elite racing league, racers must choose only one series to compete in. NASCAR does not allow drivers to earn championship points in multiple series’.
Keeping that in mind, for any of you soon-to-be NASCAR drivers, be sure to choose wisely when deciding where you want to compete because, unfortunately, you won’t be able to take part in them all!
NASCAR Interviews
If that isn’t crazy enough, then this should be! In NASCAR racing, opposed to what many might believe, racers are not invited to an interview, but they’re selected for one. You heard right! Drivers do not have the choice to refuse an interview with the media, and trying to do so will result in a serious fine from the racing league.
No matter what happened, whether your race car just did a triple front flip or you won the championship, reporters are sure to be right up your nose and ready to hear from you! When asked to do so, racers must take part in all the interviews and be prepared to answer even the craziest questions. And some of them are really insane, trust me.
NASCAR Communication
Did you ever wonder why don’t those racers work together and take down the leader? Well, it’s cause they cannot. NASCAR has shut down all cross-racer communication and has limited radio communication to only between racers and their pit crew.
Previously, racers took advantage of radio communication to communicate with other racers on the track, allowing them to come up with strategies and plans to win over their biggest competition.

As NASCAR did not like that idea, they stepped ahead and stopped all communication between racers on the track. Unfortunately, that shuts down any possibilities for evil plans. Are you a fan of NASCAR?
