Sukhothai
Sukhothai is a small Thai city approximately 100 kilometers north of Bangkok. Sukhothai is notable for its ancient ruins, which are located near one another and form the site of an ancient city by the same name. During the 13th century, Historic Sukhothai was Thailand’s first capital and Siam’s second capital. The Sukhothai Historical Park contains several temples, palaces, and monuments from this era.
